Hofstra in France

Summer Session

Description

Take distribution courses (LT), complete your language requirement or your French major or minor, and even take courses with an individual honors option.

Learn about the arts and literature in Paris through guided visits of museums and writers’ houses.

Spend four days in Barcelona at the end of the program and discover another fascinating European city.

Eligibility

Students from Hofstra and other universities are encouraged to apply to the program.


Cost

The registration fee of $4,533 covers tuition and fees for six (6) undergraduate credits.
The program fee of $4,100 covers round-trip airfare (N.Y. to Paris – Barcelona to N.Y. ), subway pass, hotel accommodations, evening meals (Monday-Wednesday), excursions to a variety of sites and museums in Paris, transportation to Barcelona, accommodations and a farewell dinner in Barcelona.

Limited scholarships are available to Hofstra students in good standing, including the William Schiver Memorial Scholarship for minority students.

The program fee is calculated on last year’s budget and is subject to change according to fluctuations in international exchange rates. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due by Friday, March 9, 2007 to reserve a space in the program and must accompany the completed application form.
