Hofstra in Berlin Program
August 3 - 24, 2013

The city of Berlin – with all its culture, history and vibrant city and economic life – is the setting for this three-week study abroad experience, offered by the Department of Comparative Literature and Languages at Hofstra University.

Program Highlights

  • Berlin cultural tours and cruises.
  • Excursions to trendy neighborhoods, historical WW II and Cold War sites and museums, the revitalized downtown, and the Reichstag.
  • Guided tours of major Berlin companies and government agencies.
  • Hotel accommodations are within walking distance to downtown and local transportation.
  • Weekends are free for independent travel in Berlin and around Europe

Eligibility

Students from Hofstra and other universities are encouraged to apply to the program. No prerequisites are required.

Program Cost*

The program fee of $3,000 covers airfare, hotel accommodations, local transportation, and excursions within Berlin. The tuition and fees for three credits are additional and equivalent to standard Hofstra University tuition and fees.
