Brian Clocksin

Brian Clocksin, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Hofstra University. He serves as coordinator of the Master of Physical Education Program and director of adventure education. He earned a Ph.D. in sport pedagogy from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in physiological kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Clocksin teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary physical education methods, adventure education, and motor behavior. His research is focused on promoting physical activity in youth, group cohesion, and adventure education.
