Amgen Scholars National Program

The Amgen Foundation, motivated by the challenge of attracting undergraduates to scientific fields, sponsors the Amgen Scholars Program, an intensive summer research opportunity in science and biotechnology. Our objective is to use these concrete, learning opportunities to enhance undergraduate interest in specific, scientific disciplines.

The Amgen Scholars Program provides hundreds of selected undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in a hands-on research experience at some of the nation’s leading educational institutions. Currently, 10 universities host the summer research program.
