New Functionality on Hofstra Online

Did you notice that the Look Up Classes option has been enhanced? Now an additional SEARCH button at the top of the criteria list speeds up your inquiries.

Additionally, searches can be limited to OPEN/WAITLISTED classes only.

Finally the class schedule search can be accessed outside the portal at www.hofstra.edu/classlookup .

Hofstra University is recommending encrypted wireless network

Users should switch to HUSEC for secure wireless network access. Instructions for connecting to HUSEC with a PC running Windows are available here. Mac OS X connection instructions can be downloaded here. You will be asked to enter your network ID and password to connect to HUSEC. If you have any questions or need assistance, call the Help Desk at (516) 463-7777.

Paperless Timesheets

Introducing ETIME. In the coming weeks, student employees and managers will switch to an electronic time collection system called ETIME. Many student employees will be performing web-based punches via department computers. All who supervise student employees will be able to monitor and manage via ETIME.
