Hofstra University Department of Drama and Dance seeks adjunct professor to teach a course that is an introduction to various styles of musical theater choreography, spring semester 2013. Styles have included Charleston, Lindy, Cakewalk, and Precision dance; as well as the study of influential choreography by Agnes De Mille, Jack Cole, Jerome Robbins, Bob Fosse, etc. The course includes movement, film viewing and lecture.
Requirements:
Preferred requirements are a Master’s degree, and/or professional experience in theater dance, and experience teaching at the college level.
