Welcome to Hofstra University!

Visitors to the Hofstra campus can take advantage of many indoor and outdoor sports and recreational facilities. Enjoy our tennis, swimming, workout facilities, playing fields, and the beautiful Hofstra Arboretum located throughout the 240 acre campus. Visit ongoing museum exhibitions, theater productions and other cultural events taking place here at Hofstra year around.

  • Hofstra Cultural Center - The office is located in the Student Center Room 107. Brochures are available and the website gives detail on all upcoming conferences, lecture series, and performances. Hofstra is just 25 miles east of New York City. Our Courtesy Bus provides convenient transportation to the Hempstead and Mineola Train Stations. Movie theaters, restaurants and shopping malls are located within close vicinity of the University. The beautiful Eisenhower Park, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, world renown Jones Beach and Amphitheater and Westbury Music Fair are all within 15 minutes of the campus.
