Each campers attending the specialty camp will be mailed an official Hofstra Summer Camp T-shirt and camp bag; compliments of Hofstra University. Additional shirts may be purchased at www.conceptsinpromotions.com

Tuition includes transportation, lunch, instructional swim, special events, and insurance.

There is an additional $30 surcharge per two-week session for the following Specialty Camps: Computer, Fine Arts, Golf, Reading, Writing, and Match Assistance, Musical Theater, Robotics, Science and Tennis. There is an additional $60 surcharge for Video Game Development and an additional $60 surcharge for Adventure Education Camp to cover additional materials and staff requirements.

To register your child for Specialty Day Camp, you may click the link at the top of the page to register online, or click here to download the Specialty Camp Registration Form. (Every field on both pages must be completed in order to process your child's registration. If the field is not applicable, please enter N/A. A confirmation of your registration will be sent via mail within 5 to 7 business days.)

A non-refundable deposit and registration fee of $335 is required to register. Full payment is due by May 1, 2008. Registration after April 1 must be accompanied by payment in full. We accept MasterCard, Visa or American Express. Please make checks payable to Hofstra University. Please include the camper's name on the check.

Discounts

Only one discount may be applied where applicable.

Sibling Discount (not applicable for the Early Tuition): $50 off each additional child (from same family enrolled) per two-week session, applicable for the regular tuition rate only.

Alumni Discount: 15% discount.

Refund Policy 

• Full payment is due for any registrations recieved after May 1, 2008.
• Tuition is refundable until May 1, 2008, less the non-refundable deposit of $335.
• No refunds after May 1, 2008, for any reason, including illness, injury, personal, missed days, etc.
• Cancellations must be received in writing.
• It is understood that no credit will be given for camp closings, absences, family vacations, transportation delays or withdrawals.
• We reserve the right to cancel any registration if fees are not paid in full by May 1, 2008.

Contract/Agreement

A parent/guardian must sign this contract on the Registration Form. It is understood and acknowledged that:

• All photography or videos taken at Hofstra may be used for promotional purposes or in other ventures directly related to camp (see Publicity Release form).
• Enrollment in Hofstra programs establishes permission for a child to engage in all program activities except as noted by the examining physician on child's medical form submitted to the camp infirmary.
• Hofstra Summer Camps complies with all Nassau County Health Department regulations.
• Hofstra Summer Camps is accredited by the American Camping Association.
• Enrollment in Hofstra Summer Camps establishes permission for a child to participate in the instructional/recreational swim program.
• I understand and acknowledge the risks related to my child's participation in Summer Camp and hold Hofstra University, its directors, officers, trustees, employees and volunteers harmless for any and all injury or loss associated with such participation.
• Identifying information may be disclosed as required by insurance or other regulations.
