Welcome To Golf Camp

Session 1 - July 6 - 16Session 2 - July 19 - 30
Session 3 - August 2 - 13
Our Golf program assists young golfers in the development of all phases and levels of the sport. It is a great opportunity to learn the history of the game as well as its rules, expected etiquette and potential values. Camp sessions emphasize building a swing with sound fundamentals. Instruction covers driving, long and short irons, chipping, putting and sand play. All instruction takes place on Hofstra fields dedicated to golf. Staff includes golf professionals offering their enthusiastic expertise. For more accomplished golfers, the focus is on swing development and course management, including target, direction and distance control. Clubs and golf balls are provided.
Note:
There is a $35 surcharge per two-week session for additional materials and staff requirements.
Open to girls and boys entering grade 2 through 9.
Schedule:
Half of the day consists of Golf and the other half in a recreation group of 8-10 campers in the same grade and gender for lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports.
