The Hofstra Gifted Academy (H.G.A.) is designed to enrich the lives of advanced students by expanding the scope of experiences provided by their school as well as to stimulate new creative interests in the students. Students will take part in two courses every Saturday morning in Mathematics and Science while being educationally challenged by their instructors in this ten week program. Each semester brings new courses to the gifted academy so get in now and be prepared for years of intellectual stimulation.
Students who wish to participate in the Hofstra Gifted Academy must submit an application and $35 non-refundable application fee. The application can be found online at http://ccepa.hofstra.edu/forms. Once accepted to the Hofstra Gifted Academy students can register for their H.G.A. courses in the current semester or any future semester.
