Using a thematic approach to reading enrichment for the beginning reader, this program is designed for those who enjoy reading as well as those who need extra help. In-class instruction incorporates the use of vocabulary words, reading passages and language arts skills to enhance the progress of the new reader. Themes include a variety of stimulating experiences that make reading fun and meaningful. Through the use of manipulatives, stories and auditory and visual experiences, ideas come alive and excite children about reading!
