During this course, students engage in activities that will develop their mathematical abilities. Topics that are commonly taught in grades 3-4 are covered. These themes include: place value, estimation/rounding, logic, properties of addition and multiplication, algebra, fractions, decimals, problem solving, geometry, exponents, statistics/probability, factors/multiples and more. Students are encouraged to work cooperatively as a whole class as well as in small groups and pairs. This course is designed for both students who would like to challenge themselves and those who need to sharpen their skills. Any student who enjoys learning while having fun will enjoy this class!
