This course will introduce the student to the fundamentals of guitar playing. Musical principles such as melody (single notes), harmony (chords) and rhythm (timing) are covered. The instructor, an experienced teacher and performer, will present the guitar in a variety of "stylistic settings" (i.e. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical). No previous experience needed! Whether seeking to acquire an initial ability or to further existing ones, come join us for an enjoyable musical experience on one of the most popular instruments of the day....the guitar!
