The PEIR Program is designed for retired seniors seeking intellectual stimulation, cultural enrichment and personal growth in the context of a community of peers. PEIR - Personal Enrichment in Retirement - attracts a broad array of lifelong learners with diverse interests, talents and backgrounds. This results in an exciting learning environment.
PEIR members are encouraged not only to attend programs, but also to develop and give presentations, teach courses, research new areas of interests, share their expertise, and plan and organize events. Monthly meetings foster participation by every member. Informal lunches in Hofstra's Mack Student Center offer a friendly setting for lively discussion and social interaction.
For more information or to schedule a visit, call Bradley Kaye at (516) 463-4824.
