Saturday Classes for Young People offers a 10-week program in both the fall and spring and a 6-week program in the summer. Saturdays at Hofstra, however, are not a sixth day of school. Children thrive in our small classes with low student-to-teacher ratios. They respond with enthusiasm to the personal nature of an out-of-the classroom learning environment where the focus is on learning, enrichment, and socialization--not “teaching to the test.” They also enjoy spending time on a college campus and making friends with other students from throughout Long Island. |
