The following courses are offered through the 2009 Program
Art History 152: Venetian Art and Architecture (in English, 3 s.h.)
Comparative Literature 151: Reflections of Venice in World Literature (in English; may be used in partial fulfillment of the special language option; satisfies the LT distribution requirement)
Italian 2: Beginning Italian (prerequisite: ITAL 1; 3 s.h.)
Political Science 154: Contemporary Italian Politics (in English; fulfills elective major/minor credits in political science and social science elective credits in European studies, 3 s.h.)
RTVF 157: Film Genres: Venice in/and the Movies (in English; may be used for credit for the film major and the film minor as well as for elective major credits, under advisement, for any of the majors in the RTVF department; 3 s.h.)
All courses meet Monday - Thursday mornings. Class work and discussion will be supplemented by visits to artistic and historical sites. No previous knowledge of Italian is required for four of the course offerings: Art History, Comparative Literature, Political Science and RTVF.
