HCLAS Reflections Abroad: 2006
The Office of Study Abroad Programs for HCLAS is pleased to announce its photo contest, open to all students who participated in our HCLAS 2006 Programs in Venice, Athens and London. The photographs included in this slideshow, depicting individual and collective study abroad experiences in international settings, were on exhibit in the first-floor display cases of the Axinn Library for a two-week period.
Winning entries will be selected based on technical and artistic merit, in addition to how well photos represent or capture one of the following categories: Crossing Cultures, Sensational Sites/Landscapes, People/Portraits and Defining Moment.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each of the four categories and honorable mentions will be announced and prizes will be awarded at our HCLAS Welcome Back reception.
Special thanks to all of our students who shared their study abroad experiences through photography with the Hofstra community.
