Hofstra in France

Eligibility

Undergraduate and graduate students from Hofstra and other American universities are all invited to apply.

Cost

The registration fee of $4,833 covers tuition and fees for six (6)undergraduate credits. The program fee of $4,300 covers:

Round-trip airfare (New York-Paris/Nice-New York)

During the first three weeks in Paris:

  • Subway pass
  • Housing accommodations
  • Some meals (minimum three dinners per week)
  • Excursions to a variety of sights and museums in and around Paris

During the last week on the Riviera:

  • Transportation by TGV (train) to Nice
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Excursions to museums in Nice
  • Visit to Monaco
  • Visit to San Remo, Italy
  • Farewell dinner

The program fee is calculated on last year's budget, and is subject to change according to fluctuations in international exchange rates. A $200 nonrefundable deposit and completed application are due by Thursday, March 6, 2008 to reserve a place in the program.

Limited scholarships are available to Hofstra students in good standing, including the William Schiver Memorial Scholarship for minority students.

No refunds will be made after March 15, 2008.
