The Department of Anthropology in Hofstra University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences provides students with a broad-based education in human culture, diversity, and civilization. A dedicated faculty and invaluable field-study programs offer the cross-cultural instruction needed to understand how people create meaningful lives. The Anthropology department is also home to Hofstra's African Studies and Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies programs as well as the Center for Public Archaeology.
The Anthropology Department offers two B.A. programs and minor in Anthropology with a full range of courses in anthropology, archaeology and culture.
