M.A. & M.S. in Biology
Christopher Sanford
I am interested in the functional design of lower vertebrates, specifically fishes. My research centers on every aspect of prey capture from prey acquisition to prey processing. This work uses an integrative approach designed to cover many biological disciplines such as biomechanics, physiology, evolution, and ecology. I am interested in both theoretical and experimental approaches to understanding the design of vertebrates.
