The Department of Drama and Dance offers courses for majors in its Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Fine Arts programs; Minors in Drama and in Musical Theater as well as distribution courses for the general Hofstra University student population.

The B.A. program in Drama is a generalist program within a liberal arts environment, familiarizing students with major themes in the history, theory and practice of theater.
