Hofstra Geology hosts four full-time faculty with wide-ranging research interests in mineral resources, tectonics, structural geology, paleontology, sedimentology, and paleoclimatology. We offer a vigorous undergraduate degree program focusing on student research and field geology. Our facilities in Gittleson Hall on the Hofstra campus include laboratories for sedimentology and paleontology, a mineralogy laboratory equipped for X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence analysis, and laboratories for digital microscopy and geological cartography.

Visit our website for more information on our activities in research and geoscience education.
