Major Meetings
The History Department invites history majors to a meeting each semester during which courses, opportunities, and relevant issues are discussed with faculty members. Lunch is provided. Watch for announcements regarding the date of the next meetings. These meetings are usually held during the Common Hour (Wednesdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
Alumni Dinner
This events allows history majors to interact with former Hofstra students who graduated as history majors and are now working in various fields. This demonstrates the many career opportunities available to students who achieve a B.A. in History.
