EDUARDO ESPINA is one of the best of Uruguay's contemporary poets. He is the author of La condición Milli Vanilli. Reflexiones de dos siglos. Buenos Aires: Planeta, 2003; El disfraz de la modernidad (1992); La caza nupcial (1993); Las ruinas de la imaginario (1995); Coto de casa (1995), Mínimo de mundo visible (2003), among others. He is a Professor of Hispanic Studies at Texas A&M University.

ARTURO CORCUERA (Peru) is one of the most influential Latin American poets today. He is the author of Primavera triunfante (1964), Las sirenas y las estaciones(1976), Los Amantes (1978), Puente de los Suspiros (1982), Prosa de juglar (1992), Canto y gemido de la Tierra (1998), La gran jugada (1998), Puerto de la memoria (2001) Sonetos del viejo amador (2001), Parajuegos (2002), and  Noé Delirante (2005). He is a Professor of Peruvian and Latin American Literature at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima, Peru.
