The LGBT Studies Program offers students broad and focused instruction in writing, critical thinking, and research, as well as an understanding and appreciation for the particular issues the LGBT community faces in today’s culture in the U.S. These skills are valuable not only for careers in education, but also for work in a wide range of businesses, government and not-for-profit jobs.

To help prepare students for these many roles, the LGBT Studies Program encourages students to find internships with organizations or business that offer opportunities of interest to them.
