Graduate Mathematics

Admission Requirements

Applicants for Admission to Graduate Mathematics must:

  1. Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution

  2. Have a strong background in mathematics including:
    • Linear Algebra (MATH 135A)
    • Advanced Calculus (MATH 171)
  3. At least two additional courses in advanced mathematics
  4. Student applying for the M.S. program must have taken Elementary Differential Equations (Math 131)

Motivated students with less mathematical background will be considered for provisional admission.
