Graduate Mathematics
Admission Requirements
Applicants for Admission to Graduate Mathematics must:
- Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Have a strong background in mathematics including:
- Linear Algebra (MATH 135A)
- Advanced Calculus (MATH 171)
- At least two additional courses in advanced mathematics
- Student applying for the M.S. program must have taken Elementary Differential Equations (Math 131)
Motivated students with less mathematical background will be considered for provisional admission.
