ROTC Commissioning Ceremony
May 17, 2007
The Military Science Department held their Commissioning Ceremony on May 17, 2007 at the Leo A. Guthart Cultural Center Theater. Seven cadets took their oaths of appointment and became commissioned officers in the United States Army. Six out of seven were Hofstra graduates, and one was a graduate from Stony Brook University. The department would like to congratulate these lieutenants and their families.
The Hofstra students are Jake Kramer, Patrick Curran, Matthew Foster, Kara Manning, Jason Newby. The Stony Brook student was Conrad Cablay. One Hofstra student, Jason Hernandez, will be commissioned during this summer.
