ROTC Commissioning Ceremony

The Military Science Department held their Spring Commissioning Ceremony on May 17, 2012, at The Helene Fortunoff Theater at Monroe Lecture Center. Sixteen cadets took their oaths of appointment and became commissioned officers in the United States Army.

Ten of these students were from Hofstra University:

Also participating were 2LT Andrew Carr of SUNY Old Westbury; brothers 2LT Donald Ford and 2LT Thomas Ford of Dowling University; 2LT William Hayes (DMG) of Adelphi University; 2LT Sungmin Ko of SUNY Stony Brook; and 2LT Robin Morales of SUNY Farmingdale.

Hofstra University Army ROTC would like to congratulate these lieutenants and their families.

*DMG stands for Distinguished Military Graduate, a designation awarded to the top 20 percent of ROTC seniors in the nation.
