Michael Chetta, M.B.A.
Email

Mike was born and raised in Queens, NY. After a childhood of wreaking miscellaneous havoc and many rambunctious endeavors, he enrolled at Nassau Community College. After switching from pre-law to further investigate psychology, Michael attained his Associates and went to Dowling College to finish his Bachelors in Psychology. He then continued at Dowling, earning his MBA in business management with a minor in finance. After several years in the corporate world working for Xerox as an account associate and manager, he decided to go back to school to pursue his paramount goal of gaining a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology, choosing Hofstra and its fine applied program. Michael was one of the key students involved in the creation of a PhD student organization for those in the Applied Organizational Psychology program and working with the Master's students and their organization to foster an environment of synergy and resourcefulness. Michael is currently working on customer satisfaction and survey research. He is also involved in other I/O and grant-related studies being done within the program, and has been a teacher's assistant for statistics classes.  Michael spends his down time playing bass, singing, keeping fit, working on his motorcycles, and riding them any chance he gets. Michael hopes to teach in a small university setting in the future, and possibly start a private consulting firm with other graduates of the program.

When not engrossed in psychological literature, she indulges in the science fiction and fantasy genres, and has great fondness for ninjas and hamsters.
