Program Highlights
- The program can be completed in two years on a full-time basis, or three years on a part-time basis.
- Courses are conveniently scheduled.
- Our multidisciplinary program of study involves faculty from Hofstra’s Departments of Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Labor Studies and Economics/Geography.
- The program makes full use of Hofstra’s state-of-the-art computer labs and other facilities.

They are active and innovative scholars whose research interests, projects, and work experiences are as varied as their professional and cultural backgrounds. Faculty research includes (but is not limited to) health policy, community politics and organizing, housing, homelessness, immigration, domestic violence, child abuse, criminal justice, labor relations, and organizational analysis.
