About the Center

The Asia Center broadens the outreach activities of Hofstra University through establishing partnerships with other universities, research institutes, high schools, international/regional organizations and government agencies in Asia. Our goal is to facilitate teaching, research and exchange opportunities in Asia for students and faculty at Hofstra, as well as promote the recruitment of talented students from Asia to study in the U.S. at Hofstra. In a wider context, the Asia Center contributes to Hofstra’s diverse community by increasing its interaction in the areas of student recruitment, training, conferences and workshops and improved visibility of Hofstra University in Asia.
