Merit-based Scholarships

Hofstra University’s merit scholarships are based on students’ performance on standardized tests, high school grade point average, class rank (where available) and strength of program. Given HUHC’s admissions standards all entering HUHC students receive some merit-based financial aid. This aid, however, is not tied to participation in HUHC and stays with any student who continues to meet the performance criteria whether or not the student completes the HUHC program.

There is no separate application process for merit-based scholarships. Approximately 10 days after receiving your letter of admissions, eligible students should receive a follow up letter indicating their award.
