8TH ANNUAL AIMS OF EDUCATION ADDRESS GIVEN BY SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION PROFESSOR LISA MERILL

At the 8th Aims of Education Address, distinguished Hofstra faculty member, Dr. Lisa Merrill explored fundamental questions about education like: What should you hope to achieve? Where ought your education lead you? What are the aims of education? Dr. Merrill is Professor of Speech, Communications and Rhetoric in the School of Communications. After her talk, students had a chance to respond and explore their own ideas about education in small group discussions with other students and faculty. Every entering HUHC class has begun its career at Hofstra with the Aims of Education Address.
