Internships

A message from Department Chairwoman Cheryl B. Mwaria

The internship in anthropology is not a requirement for majors or minors. Students may choose from a variety of internship programs, but they must have 18 semeter hours of anthropology and permission from the department chair before they can take the internship course, ANTH 190. Anthropology internships are designed for highly motivated students who are able to work in collaboration with their onsite supervisors and community members and are also prepared to produce a rigorous research paper based on their experience in the intern program.
