Font Magazine

The student edited literary magazine, produced at Hofstra by students and the Department of English. Font is calling for poetry, short stories, novel excerpts, personal essays, plays, photography, line drawings, and paintings for their next issue. Interested writers and artists can submit their work to 204 Mason, Department of English, or to the Font Office.

Hofstra Writers

A creative writing club for student-writers: poets, playwrights, fiction and nonfiction writers. Meetings are held every Thursday evening at 6pm in the Faculty Lounge behind Bits & Bytes Restaurant. Informal atmosphere.

Students are also welcome to join the Hofstra Writers Portal Group, where members can keep abreast of all that’s happening in the Hofstra creative writing community, and beyond.
