77 Steps, Film Screening and discussion with director, Ibtisam Mara’ana. The film, a documentary, lasts one hour. The remainder of the time will be spent in question and answer with the director.
At its heart, 77 Steps is a love story between Ibtisam, who is Palestinian-Israeli, and Jonathan, a Jewish Canadian immigrant to Israel. They build a relationship, but one that is constantly subject to the conflict around them.
Unfortunately, love does not conquer all. Jonathan and Ibtisam part ways, but not before they have explored the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in an intensely personal and profound way.

"Palestine," written and performed by Najla Said In this one-women, off-Broadway performance, Ms. Said explores her relationship to her famous father, to Palestine and to America in the aftermath of the events of 9/11 through stories about her life.
While many performances about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict seek to lecture or convince, Ms. Said simply tells you her story, inviting you into her experience. The result is by turns humorous and serious, but always moving.
