A show dedicated to exploring issues significant to women. One on one interviews and panel discussions are devoted to the contributions, concerns, and influence of women on politics, society, business and pop culture. Past guest have included award winning broadcast journalist Carol Jenkins; WFAN sports journalist Ann Liguori; Nell Merlino of Count Me In; and Maggie Mistal, career expert on CNN and Martha Stewart Living Sirius Satellite Radio. The show is hosted by Fran Spencer and produced by Ed Ingles and Fran Spencer.

Calliope's Corner (Thu, 6:30 P.M.)
Paula Curci hosts and produces Calliope's Corner: The Place Where Poets and Songwriters Meet. Paula is an award winning spoken word artist and School Counselor; she's won the Vault's Guardian Angel award for Calliopes Corner in 2005 and the March Of Dimes Golden Apple Award in 2007. Having been the founding member of the Acoustic Poets Network (R) and coordinator of various open mic's through out long Island, Paula knows how to mix classical and contemporary poetry and music. Calliope's Corner includes themed programming, interviews, the works of local and national artists and Paula's educational and informational "What's The Buzz" (R) minute.
Ciao Italy (Sat, Noon-3 P.M.)
Hosted by Nino and Rosa. They are the first husband-and-wife team to broadcast an Italian show on Long Island. Nino and Rosa play the top 40 with requests and dedications.

Two words: Punk rock. &he Commonground; is WRHU's all-inclusive punk format, bringing together a weekly collective of D.I.Y. styles, including old-school, British Invasion, East Coast Dischord straightedgers, and West Coast pop-punk dominants.
The Dead Zone (Tue, 7-9 P.M.)
The Grateful Dead are still alive every Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m. Complete past live performances of the Dead are aired, selected from their prolific 30-year career. A network of Deadheads from around the globe share their own collections of music with the show's host, and a true sense of musical community spirit characterizes this program.

WRHU's morning show is lively talk about Long Island life, national news, and international issues presented via the minds and mouths of Hofstra students.
Hofstra Pride Sports Coverage. (Various times)
WRHU is the official home of all Hofstra Pride sports teams. WRHU airs play by play and pre-game / post game shows for many Hofstra teams at home and on the road. Times are TBD as games are scheduled at various days & times.
Irish Country (Sat, 5-8 P.M.)
The only Irish Country radio show in the U.S. produced and hosted by radio personality Tony Jackson. The show covers the full spectrum of Irish music with interviews of many Irish stars from both sides of the Atlantic.
The Jazz Café (Mon-Fri, 1-4 P.M.)
The Jazz Café is a mixture of swing, jazz, and American popular standards.
Jugglin' Time (Sat, 8-11 P.M.)
This show airs Saturday nights from 9-11 p.m., and brings listeners the latest in reggae. The co-hosts take requests and dedications, offer giveaways, and play two hours of uninterrupted Caribbean music.
The Locker Room (Sun, 8-9 P.M.)
The WRHU Sports Department takes an in-depth look at all 18 intercollegiate Hofstra sports. In addition, we give comprehensive coverage to all local and professional sports. Tune in to hear from all your favorite Pride athletic teams, coaches, and the people who know them best.
The Long Ireland Show (Sat, 3-5 P.M.)
The Long Ireland Show with Eileen Cronin airs Saturdays from 3-5 p.m. It features Irish traditional music and listener participation. You can call in to guess the mystery artist or answer trivia questions. The Long Ireland Show also keeps you informed of local events.
Long Island Community Spotlight (Mon, 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.)
This show tackles issues facing Long Island, including the political and social structure of the region.
Newsline (Mon-Fri, 5:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.)
This show is a winner of multiple awards from the Associated Press. WRHU is the home of Long Island's largest radio news team. WRHU reporters go out into the filed all over Long Island to research, write, and report on current stories. WRHU's News Department produces this 'team coverage' 30-minute newscast. Listeners tune in for the latest in local, national, and international news, weather, and a sports report provided by the WRHU Sports Department.

This program plays new music from all of your favorite artists in pop, rock, hip hop, etc. Listen to hear tomorrow's hits today. This is the ONLY station on Long Island that brings you so much hit music - and it's all commercial-free!
Out Behind The Barn (Sun, 8-11 A.M.)
Sundays at 9 a.m.., join host and producer, Irv Simner, for two hours of good old-fashioned country music. Listener requests and comments are encouraged! Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.., the program features the Barnyard Spotlight on a particular country artist. Most shows are tied together by a specific theme or ongoing event.
P5 (Fri 12Mid - Sat 5 A.M. & Sat 11 P.M. - Sun 5 A.M.)
P5 is WRHU's hip hop show. Join the P5 crew as they hit you off with all the flavas of hip hop from the old school to the new school.
Polka and Oberek Time (Sun, 11 A.M.-3 P.M.)
Sunday mornings at 11 a.m., listeners join host and producer Basia for the happiest and purest polka dance music. Polka artists from Poland and around the world are featured on cassette, CD, and yes, even vinyl. Listener requests and comments are encouraged. Birthday announcements are a regular part of the show.

Join sales guru Tim Healy for lively discussions about business, sales, revenue, and profit.
Rhythm and Blues Serenade (Sun, 4-6 P.M.)
On Sunday afternoon, listeners can tune in for two hours of classic rhythm and blues beginning at 4 p.m. Listener requests and comments are appreciated, and an artist joining the two hosts, Frank Gengaro and Gordan Skadberg, in the studio is not uncommon. The old 45 and 78 rpm records of days gone by supply most of the music on the show.
Rock 'n' Roll Oasis (Mon-Fri, 4-6 P.M.)
The Rock 'n' Roll Oasis plays deep cuts from your favorite classic rock artists of the 60';s, 70's, and 80's.
The Ska Show (Mon, 7-9 P.M.)
This show plays the best in First, Second, and Third Wave ska, as well as rocksteady and dancehall. Long Island ska artists - signed and unsigned - add some local flavor to the playlist. The show also contains a concert report to keep listeners up-to-date with various events.
Souvenir D'Italia (Sat, 10 a.m..-Noon)
This two-hour trip through classic Italian music - from Claudio Villa, Sergio Bruni, G. Morandi, Celentano, and others airs every Saturday morning from 10 a.m.. until noon. The show is announced entirely in the Italian language. This show, hosted by Joanna Auriemma, keeps Italian culture alive in our community with information about Italian-American events. There is also a lot of audience participation with dedications and requests for the music that feels like home.
Stage and Screen (Sun, 9-11 P.M.)
The only two-hour show in the New York area concentrating on theatre, film and cabaret music, Stage and Screen airs every Sunday evening at 9. Hosted by composer/musical director Eric Baum, Stage and Screen is your weekly source for the music and news of this distinctly American art form. Occasional features include theme shows, all-request shows and interviews with Broadway and regional productions [recent guests have included the president of a recording label dedicated to theatre music, a Tony Award-winning composer and a rising star of the cabaret scene]. From buried treasures to blockbusters, glorious failures to grand successes, New Moon to Noise/Funk -if it's on stage, it's on Stage and Screen.
