Radio Hofstra University A helping hand in developing broadcasters A keen eye for spotting talent ahead of the curve.

At WRHU we train our staff to go out of the studio and into the field to speak with people making the news. Often times our student reporters cover important stories before they hit the mainstream media and many times our reporters meet / interview rising stars.
A great example of this happened a short time ago when then WRHU student reporter Andrew Falzon interviewed a politician from Illinois. Now that former WRHU student reporter can be seen on TV reporting for NY1 and that politician from Illinois Barack Obama is a potential candidate for the Presidency of the United States!
The moral to the story: If you are an aspiring broadcaster come to Hofstra where training and opportunity meet.
