Hofstra High School Journalism Institute

From July 5-18, ten young journalists tackled the issue of how education in their districts is impacted by the New York state budget. Interactive lessons in research methods, reporting, interviewing, writing, shooting and editing video and web design will culminate in the posting of their work to the Web and possibly in local media.
