This interesting discussion featured Dr. Pedro Calves and Eileen Roberto, RN from Good Samaritan Hospital, speaking about the benefits of Palliative Care in the treatment of chronic illnesses, how it differs from Hospice care, and the treatment of the patient and family as a whole SOEHHS faculty member Joan Bloomgarden, PhD also spoke regarding the contribution of Creative Arts Therapy as an essential component of a good Palliative Care program.
