Institutional Pass Rate

All candidates for teaching certification in early childhood (Birth –Grade2), elementary (Grades 1-6), secondary (Grades 7-12), and special subjects(all grades)  teachers are required to pass the New York State Teachers Certification Examinations (NYSTCE’s) administered by Pearson Inc.,  on behalf of the  New York State Education Department .  Listed below are Hofstra University’s passing rates for combined undergraduate and graduate initial preparation programs.
