Alcohol, Tobacco & Drug Abuse

Prevention of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drug Abuse, in accordance with Education Law, section 804
This course provides instruction regarding alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs so as to discourage the misuse and abuse of these substances and to promote attitudes and behaviors that enhance health, well being, and human dignity.

Attendance and completion of one of each of the following seminars is required for the completion of your program. Degrees will not be conferred without the proof of attendance.

  1. Be sure to print the directions to the location of the seminar.
  2. Sign in and sign out on the attendance sheet when you attend so that you will receive credit for attending.

Hofstra students interested in any of the seminars may only register for them online at www.hofstra.edu/SeminarVisit. Community individuals must register with the Office of Certification and Educational Support Services.
