Master of Arts: Physical Education
The mission of the Master of Arts in Physical Education is to prepare Scholarly and innovative leaders in preschool through secondary physical education. Attention is focused on the development and implementation of effective pedagogy and leadership in physical education with specializations in adventure education and/or strength and conditioning. Individuals are provide with the means and understandings necessary to effectively lead physical activity programs in school settings. Lectures and coursework promote understanding of teaching and learning philosophies within the school environment and local community.
