Is there a specific bachelor's degree required to apply?
- An undergraduate degree is required, preferably in exercise science, health and fitness, physical education, or another related area.
When are classed offered?
- Courses are offered in the evenings Monday through Thursday, beginning at 4:30pm, 6:30pm, and 8:30pm. Students can take advantage of courses offered throughout Hofstra's academic calendar: Fall, January, Spring, and Summer sessions.
How long does it take students to complete the program?
- Students typically complete the program in 1.5 years, including one summer session.
Are there scholarships and financial aid available?
- There are limited scholarships available for those who apply. Applications materials are reviewed to evaluate potential success in the classroom and the field. While the deadline for admission is rolling, those interested in scholarship opportunities are encouraged to apply early for their semester of interest.
