The Literacy Studies International Scholars Forum

The Literacy Studies International Scholars Forum is an annual event (Fall) that provides opportunities for graduate students to enter into a conversation with the leading researchers and teachers who have shaped our thinking, research, and practice. Past speakers have included, among others, Louise Rosenblatt, Margaret Meek Spencer, Maxine Greene, Ken and Yetta Goodman, David Barton, Brian Street, Gunther Kress, James Paul Gee, Sonia Nieto, Shelley Harwayne, Frank Smith, Brian Cambourne, David and Yvonne Freeman, Kathy Short, Linda Christensen, and Ira Shor.
