About the Center

The Center for Educational Access and Success includes various grant-funded initiatives supporting student success at many academic levels. The underlining theme is student support and success in the areas including science, technology, engineering and math. In many ways, the programs can be viewed on an educational continuum starting with the Teacher and Leader Quality Partnerships Program - where professional development is provided to Pre-K-5th grade teachers - and ending with the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program – where college students are supported in science, technology, engineering and math. Each program provides academic support leading to student success, while also promoting educational and/or vocational access. Including professional development for teachers, the Center fosters tutorial assistance, preparation for standardized exams, internships, faculty/student research, counseling, study skills, financial aid workshops, student professional development via conferences, and summer enrichment programs.
