Internship Opportunities

Dear Internship Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the internship program offered by the IT/QM Department of Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.  We stand ready to assist you in your search for an IT internship and welcome your application.

With the support of its IT Executive Board of Visitors our department has embarked on an internship program for our IT students. The vision of this program is to give our students the opportunity to gain valuable real-world IT experience by completing an internship in some of the best organizations in our area.  The IT/QM Department's philosophy is that the worth of business education is demonstrated by the graduate's ability to successfully apply his/her skills to the solution of business problems. This internship program allows you to enhance your “hands-on” experience in design and management of contemporary systems as well as in specific IT areas including (but not limited to) data management, systems analysis and design, networks and connectivity, multimedia design, e-commerce, project management, healthcare IT, and enterprise systems.

To apply for an internship, please complete applicable areas on the internship forms provided and submit them along with a copy of your updated resume to the IT/QM Department.  We will pass your resume on to employers who have listed internship positions with the IT/QM Department. The employer will contact the applicant(s) they wish to interviewcompany will notify us of the location of the internship, the intern's supervisor, and the contact information.  Alternatively, if you already know the company that is willing to offer you an internship, you can also complete the company-related information on the form, have it signed by your future supervisor, and submit it to the department.
