Dennis Smetana
Dr. Dennis Smetana is a board certified ophthalmologist in private practice. He is also medical director for a nursing home. In addition, Dennis is the founder and CEO of Pharm-coop Inc., a firm that distributes ophthalmic medications, specialty sunglasses and contact lenses via mail-order and the Internet.
Steven J. Forte
Steven Forte is Manager In-Plant Support with the US Postal Service. In this position, Steven provides technical support for 25 automated mail processing facilities that serve 22 million customers in New York, New Jersey, and the Caribbean. Steven earned his bachelor's degree in Management from Hofstra University.
Steven P. Rossignol
Steve Rossignol is Manager Production Engineer at Newsday. In his current position he is responsible for the direct support of pressroom operations, including supervision of production and contractor personnel. Steve earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Maine at Orono. He also completed some graduate work in business at SUNY Stony Brook.
Xuemao (Shimo) Wang
Xuemao Wang is Director of Information Technology at the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO). In this position, he plans and directs METRO's information technology infrastructures, goods and services to its 1,200 member libraries. Xuemao earned his undergraduate degree from Wuhan University (China), and Master of Library Science and Master of Library and Information Science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and University of South Carolina, respectively.
Edward J. Fred
Edward Fred is the President and Chief Financial Officer for CPI Aerostructures, Inc. In these positions, Ed is responsible for the financial and daily operations of the Company. In addition, he is involved with the banking and investment communities, and serves on the company's Board of Directors. Ed earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Dowling College.
Christopher C. Bright
Christopher Bright is a Senior Credit Analyst with Sovereign Bank. In this capacity he oversees an account portfolio consisting of over 30 lessors with outstanding contracts totaling over $90 million. Christopher earned his Bachelor's degree in Marketing from New York Institute of Technology.
Robert F. Milke
Robert Milke is a sales representative for Solutia (a firm that purchased Monsanto's chemical business). In this position, Robert is responsible for selling specialty water treatment chemicals to several major industrial groups (including detergent, paper and pulp, and metal working). Robert earned his bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Syracuse University.
Patrick M. Hogan
Patrick Hogan is the Manager of Protection and Communications in the Electric System Operations Department of KeySpan. In this position he is responsible for all the electric data acquisition, control systems and relay protection schemes for Keyspan's Long Island based generation and for the Long Island Power Authority's transmission and substation system. Patrick earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
Jed Morey
Jed Morey is the Chief Operating Officer of The Morey Organization, a market and entertainment company. The Morey Organization owns The Vanderbilt, a banquet and event facility; three radio stations: WLIR, WDRE, and Party 105; The Island Ear, a bi-weekly publication; and Strong Island Events, an event marketing company. Jed Morey earned his bachelor's degree from Skidmore with specializations in Business and Music. He is also the president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island.
Joseph B. Vincent
Joseph Vincent is Vice President of Operations for The New York Post. In this position, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the newspaper's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Bronx. He is also responsible for labor relations at the New York Post. Joseph earned his bachelor's degree with a specialization in Psychology from Regents College.
