Paul O'Neill served as the 72nd U.S. secretary of the Treasury for part of President George W. Bush's first administration. He resigned in December 2002. Previously, Mr. O'Neill was chairman and CEO of the Pittsburgh-based industrial giant Alcoa from 1987 to 1999, retiring as chairman at the end of 2000. In 1995 he was named chairman of the RAND Corporation.

Robert Rubin, director and chairman of the Executive Committee of Citigroup, served as the 70th U.S. secretary of the Treasury during both the first and second Clinton administrations.

Floyd Norris, who will act as moderator, is chief financial correspondent of The New York Times and The International Herald Tribune, covering the world of finance and economics. He was named to that post in September 1999, after spending more than a year as a member of the Times' editorial board. He joined the paper in October 1988 as a financial columnist.

There will be a reception at the Hofstra University Club following the program.
