Welcome from the Dean
I would like to welcome you to the Web site of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University and invite you to become acquainted with our resources and teaching philosophy.
Located on Long Island, New York, the Zarb School of Business offers undergraduate, graduate and certificate students the opportunity to study in a suburban environment that is within close proximity to New York City. While pursuing their studies at our school, which is accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, our students are able to participate in a wide variety of activities and cultural events on campus, as well as take advantage of the rich diversity of activities and business opportunities available on Long Island and Manhattan. The Zarb School encourages both undergraduate and graduate students to take advantage of a wide variety of internships so that they will gain valuable experience in preparation for their business careers.
Throughout all Zarb School of Business programs, the importance of lifelong education, ethics in business, an awareness of global issues and concern for the environment are emphasized. Whether you are pursuing a B.B.A., an M.B.A., an Executive M.B.A., an M.S., or a post-baccalaureate or post-master certificate, you will find that each program is designed to prepare individuals to meet their responsibilities as business leaders. Our faculty are strongly committed to teaching excellence, research and service to Hofstra University. They are actively involved in student organizations and activities, and help our students gain internships and employment upon graduation. Thus, the Zarb School of Business offers you the opportunity to study in an academic environment that encourages you to excel in your chosen field of study and to secure a rewarding position after graduation.
